PRESSPLAY (Jamie Novick) from This Is Not A Rave has just sent his latest mix our way to help promote his next big night at the Egg on 17th April when 'This Is Not A Rave' will be hosting the huge talents of Trevor Loveys, Hijack and Heavy Feet with support from Pressplay himself and Not Shy. Be sure to check it out if you're in the London area because it should be one BIG night.
Jamie states on his myspace that he's "trying to put together an indie-electro sound with loads of grimey basslines and big hooks with samples from a few of his (my) fave bands" and that's exactly what he's produced with this mix! It's an exhibition of catchy, absorbing synth arrangements and hefty, bass enthused tracks that are tightly mixed and carefully constructed.
