TROUBLED THOUGHTS: LEONARDUS

LEONARDUS is a producer and remixer who much like Louis La Roche is a music maker that has a distinctly french sound, but does not actually hail from France. Leonardus, from Limburg, Holland, is a disco enthusiast who has been constructing some absolutely stunning sample based tracks recently. His track 'My Love', which samples The Emotions - Best of my Love, is a neatly constructed, soulful house track that radiates positive summer vibes. Comprehensive work from the Dutch disco king!

SCREENDEATH a.k.a. Ryan Thompson is an electronic producer hailing from Northern Ireland. He's been producing music since mid-2008 and has already gained attention for his recent, outstanding MSTRKRFT remix. He's now remixed 'Hello' by AC Slater and what a track he's created. His remix has a minimal, airy opening before slowly emerging as a ferocious, dub influenced monster with a breathtaking build and drop to devastate any dancefloor! One to watch out for!

Hailing from Miami, Florida, 21 year old, Plastic Fang, has manufactured a mass of flawless and precise mixes for the likes of The Whip, Kayzo, White Lies, Justice and Vivian and The Radio Rude. He’s currently working on his first album and has already received offers from digital labels. A confident, thorough and scrupulous producer – Plastic Fang is definitely one to watch out for!

His exclusive mixtape, recorded live this month, is an introduction to the artists and remixers that have obvious influence on Plastic Fang’s musical productions. A collection of bratty female vocals and male lathario’s backed by pushy, buzzing synths, guitars and crashing drum beats. This isn’t perfect listening, but it’s a coherent assortment of sounds that work together to construct a mix that is quite simply dirty party music.

TROUBLED THOUGHTS: HOSTAGE

HOSTAGE a.k.a. Alan Parley is one of the strongest forces in the U.K fidget house scene and he proves it yet again with his latest remix of The Prodigy's brand new track 'Take Me To The Hospital.' Described by Alan as “wobbly booty with all the stabs and gunshots you could shake a glow-stick at!” FEARSOME and FURIOUS beats from the Scottish lad.

TROUBLED THOUGHTS: JAKWOB

JAKWOB aka James Jacob is a U.K based producer and remixer recently featured on Radio 1 by Jaymo & Andy George. His wonky, dub remix of The Fear was included as the closing track in KiD COLA's exclusive mix for Trouble Stereo and we absolutely loved it.

Here, thanks to James, is a preview of his latest remix for London trio The Teasers. This is not for the faint hearted - a ravey, dub driven track full of womp and with a bassline to shake the life right out of you. Wind down your car windows and enjoy this blazing track at full volume - it is effectively summer, right?
