THE C90s (Jamie Paterson and Danny Ashenden) are two DJ's from London U.K who were formed over a "mutual appreciation of disco beats, handclaps, cowbells, and vocoders." They've remixed the likes of Late of the Pier, The Bell, Soft Cell and Cut Copy. Their latest remix of Headman (featured in their exclusive mix) is a vocal driven nu-disco track not to be missed! The boys are currently working on their own original material and looking to release their first EP very soon!
Their exclusive mix opens with a funky disco blitz (an obvious statement about their early influences) before moving into a modern disco house blend of synths and strings that combine like chilli and chocolate (you just try it)! An enigmatic mix of cosmic melodies and breathy, 80's inspired vocals. This mix truly is an outstanding display of two DJ's firmly in command of their style and sound.
